A major win in Orlando

One of the highlights of Nathalie’s career took place on May 22, 2015, at a makeup convention in Orlando, where she won first place among 40 competitors. For this competition, she completed a face painting creation in just one hour, using Rachael Leann as her model.

Her work earned her first prize from Mehron, a well-known name in the world of professional makeup and face painting. This achievement was especially meaningful as she presented her work in front of respected judges, including Margi Kanter, a fantasy makeup artist widely recognized in the industry.

Years of experience in entertainment

Beyond competitions, Nathalie has developed her expertise through years of hands-on experience in the entertainment industry. She worked for 10 years at Casino du Lac-Leamy, where she created makeup looks for events as well as for the nightclub environment. This experience helped her refine her speed, versatility, and ability to adapt her artistry to different audiences and atmospheres.

She also contributed to makeup design projects connected to Cirque du Soleil, in collaboration with Loto-Québec, during performances held at Casino du Lac-Leamy. These projects showcased her ability to work in creative, high-energy environments where precision and visual impact are essential.

Sharing her art internationally

In 2022, Nathalie brought her passion for makeup artistry to Suchitoto, El Salvador, where she shared her knowledge and experience with local communities. During this experience, she taught in five different schools as well as in the country’s national libraries, while also giving a conference about the profession of makeup artist.

This international experience highlights not only her talent, but also her dedication to education, cultural exchange, and artistic transmission. Through her work abroad, Nathalie helped showcase makeup as both a professional career and a powerful form of artistic expression.
